Canarinhos de Novo Hamburgo   The institute of Meninos Cantores was founded in 1980 to subtitute the Canarinhos do colégio Pio XII which was founded in 1974. As well a boys choir the institute had an orchestra. In 1997 they went on their first tour to Europe, performing 18 concerts in Germany, Switzerland, France, Belgium and Austria. They were the fist Brazilian boys choir to sing in the Notre Dame in Paris. They recorded 2 Lps in the 80s and 2Cds in the 90s. In 2001 girls were admitted to the choir.     Links
